Our Story

Founded in 1968, Mystic Woman's Club began as a small group of individuals who shared a passion for environmental sustainability. Over the years, we have grown into a vibrant community of activists and volunteers who are committed to creating a more sustainable world.

At Mystic Woman's Club, our mission is to promote environmental sustainability and advocate for policies that protect our planet. We believe that small actions can make a big impact, and we work tirelessly to create a more sustainable future for all.

JOIN OUR CLUB

The Mystic Woman’s Club (MWC) is excited to welcome new members. Join our club and volunteer your time and efforts for the betterment of our community. Our woman’s club is a charitable non-denominational IRS approved 501(c)3 non-profit organization. A member of The General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) the MWC works on and supports state as well as local projects. GFWC is an international women’s organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service. The Mystic Woman’s Club opened a Thrift Shop in 1969. Today that thrift shop is a booming, volunteer staffed local favorite and is situated at 165 S. Broad Street, Pawcatuck, across from the Stonington HS. All money made from the thrift shop and other fundraisers is given back annually to the community by way of Grants.
